Scallywags and Scurvydogs

Tattoos, hats, and eye patches were part of the fun on this impromptu Pirate Day!  After getting all geared up with the help of the teachers, the children played pirate games, read pirate stories and participated in a real treasure hunt! 

Scavenger Hunt

Off on another adventure with the school-age kids. This time we followed clues which lead us to many locations in our neighbourhood. With a couple of Freezie breaks, some cool water, and some shade of the old growth forest, we were able to stay cool on this hot summer outing!
